Time-prompt bowling

One of my favourite podcasts, The Cosmic Influence, had an episode a while back that focussed on the time-prompt phenomenon. Time prompt is the name for the phenomenon when a particular number or set of numbers repeatedly come up; for example, if someone continually wakes up at 11:11 or the number 7 keeps appearing in multiple places. Dates that are the same number like 09/09/09 are also time prompts; they may be power numbers. This was a very interesting show, and after doing years of research on this topic, Marie D. Jones and Larry Flaxman say that there is something in the time-prompt phenomenon and have written a book on the subject (11:11 the Time Prompt Phenomenon: The Meaning Behind Mysterious Signs, Sequences, and Synchronicities).

An article that I found in the news is another 11:11 coincidence/synchronicity. An article at redorbit reports that an 11 year-old boy went bowling and got 11 strikes in a row! Pretty amazing, even if you disregard the 11:11 bit. Anyway, I thought it was even more interesting as I had just listened to the time-prompt show. Synchronicity or coincidence; you choose!
