Pareidolia

Following up from my last blog about the face blog, I found another great blog that showcases some great pareidolia (things that look like other things). There's some great photos, a few faces here too, though it's more based in the nature. There's the old classic Jesus tortilla/pancake pareidolia, which is actually a good likeness. The face of Mary on a grilled cheese sandwich is also quite good, although I found it hard to take seriously. My favourite ones here are the clouds; there are positively superb. The die-hard cloudwatchers among us will appreciate what a wonderful thing it is to watch clouds go by and take in the awesome detail of the scenes and the characters. I'm not ashamed to say that I love clouds, and these are some of the best cloud photos I've seen. I also like Mother Teresa on a cinnamon bun, Darth Vader in a nebula, and Jesus on the lake. They're all quite good and it's nutritious for the imagination.
