Gregorian monks: cheese maestros

Source: Smash Hits news

Chanting has all sorts of positive effects. Number chants, chanting the name of God, Aum, and the Maha Mantra are just some well-known chants that are thought to produce beneficial results. Even if the chant has no spiritual value, just the vibrational effects of chanting are enough to work wonders. Some of the best-known chants are those of the Gregorian monks, some of which have recently been incorporated into some techno whizz fizz beats.

The Chant Music of Paradise is a Gregorian monk chant that has been released in the UK, and has topped the charts! Some clever Austrian cheese makers have been playing this chant to their cheese while it matures, blasting it out of their speakers over and over again. Now, I would imagine that this would yield some interesting results, and it has. The cheese has been winning prizes ever since they started playing the Gregorian chant to it! I would think that the vibrations and frequencies of the chanting are having a positive effect on the cheese, what do you think? The type of cheese is Grottenhofer Auslese, but I wonder if the chant also works on other types of cheese, or whether each cheese has its own individual chant.
