Any Message for Whoever’s Simulating Our World? Leave It Here and Win a Real Prize

Are you aware that the world's a simulation? It's like a big virtual reality trip, fully. Is it something resembling The Matrix? Is it like The Sims? Maybe we're living inside a giant computer like in Tron. Whatever, who cares right? Well there's this awesome little website over at TierneyLab - a division of the New York Times - that lets you leave a comment or question to the simulator. Maybe it would be a good idea to resist the temptation to say "Go f*^ck yourself, @$$hole!" Oh well, go ahead if you think it's appropriate.

There are some pretty trippy comments that people make, and it's cool to get an idea of what's in peoples' consciousness at the moment. Here is a selection of comments that I really enjoyed:

I’ve been through 8763 simulations, give or take 50 or 60. The next time around could you remove the mole from my left earlobe. I’m tired of being the butt of jokes in grade school and high school. 8763 plastic surgeries on your ear is no fun at all. I don’t think I’m asking for too much.

Do you consider allowing the creation of Windows Vista to be some sort of practical joke to humanity?

Cause I don’t think it’s funny. I’m also pretty sure that whatever technology your simulator is using, is somehow related to the modern-day linux!
