Playgirl Tibet has added another dimension to the troubled China-Tibet relationship by including a feature on the naked Buddha. The series of photographs had the holy Buddha in sexy and seductive poses, and he was even featured in his birthday suit! This has enraged China, as it is seen by many as sacrilege to show a deity in this manner.
The coolest thing about this story is how the Dalai Llama reacted. If you've ever heard him in interviews and conversations, you know he's got a great authentic sense of humour, so brace yourself for a classic Dalai observation. Apparently, he had a talk with the photographer and then said "The physical world doesn't exist anyway, so why get upset?" I couldn't have put it better myself.
