A guy in Argentina tried to knock himself off, but it seems fate had other ideas. He's still around after shooting himself FIVE times in the head and once in the stomach. To top it off, he's 84!
This story is amazing, and comes off as something like a miracle. I guess it just wasn't his time to go. Police officer Herman Ruben Gab made a statement that not only did this guy survive, but he didn't even lose consciousness: "Despite the serious injuries he was even conscious when we found him. He could not speak, but he sat on a stool and made himself understood through gestures."
Apparently, he used a really old gun and ammunition, so the gunshots weren't as powerful as if he used a modern gun. Even so, it's a freak that he survived.
People have commented on the story, and some of them are really funny. A comment by KyleGenocideGuy sums the whole situation up beautifully:
